Every year, during the month of August, Hope Philippines Church conducts its Annual Seminar at its main church in San Juan City, Metro Manila. “Moving in the Spirit” was the theme of the Annual Seminar for this year, conducted last August 21-23, 2015. As is always the case, the activity was organized for the benefit of not only the main Hope Church in San Juan, but also for its daughter churches and centers. Participants to the 2015 Seminar totaled 245, from the main San Juan Church and six (6) daughter churches and centres.

Speakers during the Seminar were Hope Philippines’ Pastor Soradej Meesaengtham and HIM Regional Pastor James Loke. Topics during the Seminar included an introduction to moving in the Spirit; who we are in Christ; how God communicates with us; ministering in the Spirit; and community that moves in the Spirit. Participants were also given a chance to reflect on and process what they have learned from the lectures through Reflection Sessions with Pastor Eunice Meesaengtham.

Pastor James Loke also gave the participants a chance to “practice” their learnings through activities such as Prophetic Activation during the first day, and a Treasure Hunt during the second day. The Treasure Hunt involved going out to different locations and finding specific people to pray for and share the gospel to, all through the leading of the Holy Spirit. People came back on the third day with exciting testimonies from their Treasure Hunts and some “treasures” even joined the church service on the last day of the Seminar.

The Seminar was an eye-opener for most of the participants, who learned new things about the Holy Spirit and how He moves in the lives of believers. Interspersed with worship, prayer, lecture, interaction, practical application, and the powerful ministering of the Holy Spirit, the Hope Philippines Annual Seminar 2015 was instrumental in letting its participants listen to the voice of the Spirit, follow His leading, receive new revelation, and obey His instructions. Surely, these had a powerful impact in the spiritual lives of all who belong to Hope Philippines Church.
