HOPE GOLD COAST COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENT

Christmas can be a difficult time of year for some. Hope Gold Coast endeavoured to make Christmas a little bit more special in the community this year. Just over 100 people (including volunteers) attended and participate in our first ever community event - Simply Christmas!

Over 60 children and families gathered around the enchanting tents of face painting, jumping castle, children's games and goodies to be collected. Several hampers stocked full of household goods, treats and groceries to help fill the cupboards of many families were thoroughly enjoyed.

We also welcomed the partnership of YWAM on the Gold coast who brought a vibrant team and Christmas music to bring the fun and Christmas cheer.

A scrumptious, sausage sizzle, chocolate brownies, cup cakes and Christmas treaties galore filled the tummies of hungry children and parents during the course of the day.

A special thank you to Caroline Ashlin, Tom Chimbura, Neru and Kevin Choo and all the Hope Gold Coast team for making Christmas a little more special on the Gold Coast.
