HOPE LEEDS CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Leeds is a metropolitan city situated in North England right in the middle of the Great Britain isle. In this financial and commercial hub of the region, lies a Hope church, with a congregation made up mostly of Filipinos.

Hope Leeds Church had a Christmas celebration on 21 December 2014. Though the temperature dropped and it was freezing, the congregation was filled with the warmth and love of God, and brothers and sisters who came to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

One of the items that always adds smiles to people’s faces is the kid’s presentation. This year, the lovely children presented a song to everyone.

The message by Ps Prakich Treetasayuth was Christmas for You and Me, based on Luke 2:8-11. On the night the Saviour was born, the angel of God came to deliver the good news to the shepherds. It was the good news of great joy, for all people and about salvation.

After the main service, everyone continued to enjoy themselves with the sumptuous food prepared by the church members, followed by a talent contest, Hope Leeds’ Got Talent.
