While the world celebrated Easter Sunday, HIM Bangkok-Oasis Church recently conducted their Resurrection Sunday service focusing not on the suffering Christ but on our risen Lord! A presentation of Christ’s crucifixion, death and resurrection was done through miming mixed with interpretative dance.
A touching number of ‘The Old Rugged Cross’ not only reached the hearts of the audience, but it brought everyone back to the sacrifice Jesus willingly went through to bring us victory, salvation and eternal life.
The service was concluded by a very practical yet powerful preaching by Pastor Mayette entitled ‘Re-live’.
May this season remind us that Christ died so that we may truly and really ‘live’.
