HOPE HONG KONG CHRISTMAS SERVICE

Light of the world 

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12 

As He is the light of the world, we are His light in this world and we are to shine for His glory. This is the heartbeat for our 2015 Christmas service. Praise God that God had placed this united message for our church and we truly experienced His hands in all our preparation and services on that day. We had about 40 people who came to celebrate Christmas on 19th Dec 2015 including brothers and sisters from overseas and new friends. 



We started off our service with a game by using a little torch in darkness and looking for a sentence about the light of the world. When it came to praise and worship, the energy of the worship team sparked a light and the hearts of the congregation to really praise God. Many of the visitors felt the passion and shared that the service gave them a different impression of Christmas.



After the service, dinner was provided to all who came. Praise God that a lot of them have stayed for the dinner and we had a good time together. A lot of them still keep in touch with our church even after this Christmas event. For this year, we served as a family of God that sharing the same joy and love of Christ in this special day in 2015.
