Christmas is a time of God showing His great love for us. Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of Christ. Hatyai City Church in Songkla province, Thailand took this opportunity to tell the Thai people about this good news by celebrating Christmas on December 20, 2015 with the theme “White Christmas”. We created an exciting environment by changing the hall into a winter theme.
There were snowflakes everywhere until you could feel the cold from winter. We had a couple beautiful corners for people to capture memorable pictures of the celebration. After finishing the regular service on Sunday morning, we started our celebration from 6 – 10 pm. About 300 people participated, including 100 children, in Christmas party.
We served various kinds of food and also fun activities such as games, Christmas gifts give-away, shows and impressive Christmas songs. Our pastor, Pastor Chaiyapruek, shared the real meaning of Christmas. The night so great and wonderful. It was quite a remarkable celebration for us as we had 150 visitors and 17 of them had accepted Jesus into their lives.
