HOPE JOHOR BAHRU BIBLE CONFERENCE

It was a wonderful time of gathering for churches in Southern Region of Malaysia as well as leaders from both Hope Indonesia and Hope Taipei during the recently concluded Bible Conference in Johor Bahru, Malaysia (24th – 25th April 2015). The theme of the Bible Conference was called "Ministering in Spiritual Gifts". 

The conference started with great anticipation which was a build-up from the previous sessions we had together with Ps Lai Ling concerning intimacy with God. During this conference, she went on to encourage the church to step out in faith to minister in spiritual gifts. The participants were taught on the basic principles of ministering in spiritual gifts.



Furthermore, Pastor Lai Ling shared about the way God communicates with His people with reference to several of her own testimonies. Notwithstanding, one of the highlights during the conference was the spiritual activation exercises, whereby participants were instructed to pray for one another and believe God for a word or bible verse to encourage one another. As the people took the step of faith, we witnessed God move in miraculous ways.

Many testimonies were shared of how they received a vision and word from God, which accurately depicted their prayer partners’ situations. The church was greatly encouraged and touched by those testimonies. We anticipate many more wonderful things to happen as the church continues to use God's spiritual gifts to expand His Kingdom.
