HOPE KUALA LUMPUR NEPALESE SERVICE

Brother Danny Yeo is the coordinator of the Hope Kuala Lumpur (KL) Nepalese church. He works together with Bro Yakub Sebastian and Bro Wendy Jap (Caleb) from Hope KL as well as our Nepalese leaders Bro Dambar and Bro Raju. We stand out because our service is conducted mainly in the Nepali language, from the songs we sing to the sermons that are preached. Our vision is to see the lives of many Nepalese migrants in Kuala Lumpur and its vicinity being touched by the message of the Gospel and to put their faith in Jesus Christ. Our ministry also seeks to prepare future Nepalese church leaders to bring the Gospel message to their own people and plant more churches in Nepal.

Our service is a good place to expose oneself to a very different culture in worshipping the Lord. It is also a good starting point to learn how to serve in missions among Nepalese people. This is a place where people will be touched by the generosity, sincerity and friendliness of our Nepalese brothers and sisters. Throughout the year, we have many events including a fund raising for education where we see many people giving. This includes one brother who was strained financially with family responsibilities, but gave more than we expected and this really touched our hearts.

Hope KL Nepalese church is one the main thrusts of Hope KL’s Mission At Doorstep (M.A.D.) ministries. It plays a very important role in Hope KL’s mission to touch different nations in Kuala Lumpur and its vicinity. Unlike many other countries, Malaysia is unique in that it has a large population of migrant workers.

Let’s serve together in Hope KL’s M.A.D. ministries and fulfill Christ’s Great Commission by bringing the Gospel to people of many nations, right here at our very doorstep!
