HIM BANGKOK OASIS CHURCH’S NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING

Last December 14, HIM-Bangkok Oasis Church celebrated a night of Thanksgiving – “A toast to God’s goodness and faithfulness” with all its members and their respective families. Indeed, God is good and it is just befitting to honor and thank Jesus as a church. Everyone not only wore their Sunday best but also wore their best smiles, proof of overflowing peace and joy in their hearts. 



The event started with a festive Sunday afternoon Worship Service followed by an engaging performance by the Dance, Mime and Drama team. It reminded the congregation of the many things to be thankful for to God. The Dynamic Groups (DGs) were then recognized, from the House owners, to the supportive members and core as well as fruitful and dynamic DGs and DG Leaders. It has really been a fruitful year as many DGs were started.



After the sumptuous dinner buffet, there was a raffle draw of prizes sponsored by the DMMs and performances by all the clusters namely, PBTS, Chao Phraya, Viphavadi and Lumphini. Even the adorable Kids in Motion performed a super cute ballroom dance number with the DMM Leaders.



The highlight of the night was the special offering to the Lord. Pastor Mayette encouraged each one to place whatever amount they are willing to offer to God by faith, believing that there will be more in the coming year. There will be abundance and an overflow of God’s blessings in 2015. The goodness of the Lord will overtake His people. The salvation and redemption through Jesus’ death and resurrection paved the way for the ministry of giving but above all these, He gave His people a privilege to really live their life to the fullest.
