HOPE TOKYO CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Hope Tokyo recently had their Christmas celebration event, “Coloring Your Life”, on 21st December. We had this theme in mind because we wanted to firstly let our friends know that Christmas exists because of Jesus Christ. By knowing Him personally, their lives will be filled with colors and a clear purpose. 



Prior to the event day, we spent time together praying and asking God to enable us to invite as many of our friends as possible and also to bless us in all the necessary preparations. All glory be unto God for what He did! There were just the 9 of us but the friends who showed up totaled 30 people. Among them were Japanese, Chinese, Thais and Indians. The majority of those who came were university students.

In Japan, many people celebrate Christmas without knowing the real meaning of Christmas. As such, our visitors told us that they were glad to have been invited and heard the true meaning of Christmas for the first time.

We would like to ask for your prayers, especially with regards to the following:

• That God will continue to work in the hearts of our visitors and draw them unto Him. 
• That God will continue to enable us through the Holy Spirit to reach out to and assimilate more people. 
• That God will add more visionary workers to our team. The fields are ripe for harvest but the workers few.
