HIM BANGKOK REVIVAL COMBINED SERVICE

A Sunday of celebration, revival, worship and fellowship took place on 21st of September,2014. All four HIM churches in Bangkok combined their Sunday Services at St Louis Hospital , Car Park Building. This was a much awaited Sunday for all the churches, namely, HIM Bangkok Well of Life led by Ps. Prayuth Sariman, HIM Bangkok Oasis Church led by Ps. Mayette Alkuino, Church of God's Presence (Samutprakarn) led by Ps. Deacha Khammoolna, and Excellent Grace Church, led by Ps. Olan Sakjareonpan. 



We want to intentionally develop a greater rapport among people of different languages, race and culture. This combined service will take place every four months with the sole purpose of empowering the people to revive a non-Christ believing city. This empowerment will enable HIM Bangkok members to boldly introduce Jesus Christ to the Metropolis.



Ps. Denis Lu of HIM Kuching, Malaysia, graced the event with his powerful message. He shared that individually and as a church, we should recognize the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ in our lives. The whole world will deliver bad news, the social media will write about bad news, but with God it is all about the Good News. No matter what one feels, it is only and will always be all about God’s Good News. He explained that the book of Colossians was written by Paul to address the dangers of mysticism and legalism creeping into the church and that the central message of Colossians is that Christ is enough for us. The closer one walks with God, the more wisdom we will have in absorbing His teachings and corrections. Ps. Denis continued with his message of the evidence and the essence of the gospel, and how it can bring encouragement. Having faith, love and hope is essential. Bearing fruits can be certain, and a non-depleting knowledge of the ways of the Lord will be the ultimate result.

Each church presented their talents in the afternoon after a powerful praise and worship. Ps. Chuchart (HIM Thailand President) prayed for all the leaders of each church towards the end of the program. All four pastors of the four participating churches shared the heart they have for the Lord and His people, incorporating HIM’s vision in fulfilling the Great Commission that God had given for us all.
