HIM QUEBEC, CANADA NEWS BY ERIC HEBERT

Hello, my name is Eric. I’m from Quebec which is the French part of Canada. We started a house church in 2013 at Montreal. We started with two people and a couple joined after that. Over the last 18 months, we focused on strengthening the team. We trained the team in evangelism and disciple-making. We finally got new believers and new people joining the house church. We have several contacts who are not yet Christian but we’re moving toward teaching them at care groups. Now that the house church is well-established; so we have 3 elders who already lead the house church. So the plan for the future is likely for me to move over the summer to Gaspé, an area 10 hours’ drive east of Montreal. In Gaspe,, there’s already a team that I disciple remotely but am going to start a house church with them. So we’re slowly developing the church network in Quebec, the French-speaking province of Canada. Pray for us and for me to move in my new house and all relocation arrangements. there’ll be a big transition period for me.
