HOPE TAIPEI EASTER BLOOD DONATION DRIVE & STREET EVANGELISM

On Sunday, 20 April, Hope Taipei Church celebrated Easter together. We gathered for a special Sunday morning service, remembering the Cross of Christ and its implications upon our lives.

After fellowship lunch, we went to the memorial park nearby and held an open-air praise and worship session. We also passed out Gospel tracts in the park, and gave out balloons for children. Many people received tracts, and some were invited to visit our church.

A blood donation station was located inside the park. So, as a church, we encouraged members to donate blood to help people. We also invited friends to join us in the blood donation drive. As Jesus gave Himself for us, shed His blood on the Cross so that we may have life, we give our blood to help others in need to give them life. This was a way to practically help our society, and also proclaim the Gospel message.

Overall, this Easter blood donation drive was a success. Every member was mobilized, some gave blood, some handed out tracts, some gave out balloons to children, and all sang songs of praise and worship in the park to proclaim that our Lord is risen. We really enjoyed our time of serving the Lord together. Glory to God in the highest!
