HOPE FEST IN UNITED KINGDOM

Hope Fest is an annual celebration of Hope churches in the United Kingdom. This year, it was held in Shropshire from 18-21 April with the theme “Thy Will Be Done”. The last few years have seen the mighty move of God in our missions in the United Kingdom. Many churches were planted across England and beyond. Our people started to believe that mission is not just for pastors or leaders but for every disciple of Christ. In fact, God wants to involve all His people in mission. The question is what is His will for each person in this big picture.

Besides the teachings by the elders of Hope UK, Ps Vincent, Ps Eldos, Ps Dexter, and myself, the participants were inspired by life stories of leaders through their interviews and testimonies. The congregation learned how God’s will could be discerned and that it must be obeyed, despite difficulties.

While the adults met in the main hall, the youths ran a parallel meeting. It was amazing to see their potential unleashed through music and other activities. These people are the future of the church and we want to train them well.

One of the highlights of this camp was water baptism. Many people, young and old, declared that they wanted to commit their lives to Jesus Christ at all cost.

Through the powerful work of the Holy Spirit throughout the camp, many hearts were touched and many lives were transformed. Many people made a decision to come out of their comfort zone, leave their past behind and follow the will of God for their lives.
