HIM PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE: PASTOR SIMON ENG
Greetings HIM Family,
I'm so excited to be able to communicate with you once again. God has been doing some amazing things among our churches and among our regions. For example, I’ve been attending the Global Conference in Singapore. God is doing great and wonderful things in our church in Singapore. The people are excited and their leaders are excited. They are moving into church planting in China together with our church in the Philippines and other countries in the Indo-China region. That's moving on. The people are excited. They want to go to these places and plant many, many, many more churches. And I'm excited to see that.
I hear about Europe: both east and west. Our people are gearing up and expanding into missions. They have a focus to start many more groups around Europe. We are hearing how God is doing something in countries that we’ve never heard about in Europe. It's starting to stir. Contacts are being made, our people are excited to go in to those countries, and we're going to hear a lot more about what is happening over there. In Africa, our people are excitedly moving into central and western Africa. Some of our leaders in Oceania are looking into how we can go into other countries in Africa and you are going to hear more.
Recently, I was in Borneo as part of the Malaysia Convention and they were reporting about how different people are planting churches. We have excited people keen for God and pioneering into the oil palm plantations. Our people in Borneo have identified on the whole island how many churches they want to plant. I hear about Khan Lee in southern Malaysia where they talked about the convention, the camps they had and how 500-600 people are responding wanting to do more work for the kingdom of God. So in various regions of our Hope family, something is brewing, something is happening and God is moving among our churches.
I want to encourage you that if you are in that region and maybe you are thinking, “I don't feel that sense of excitement in my region”, I want to encourage you with this verse: Jesus said, the harvest is plentiful, the workers are few, pray, ask the Lord of the harvest and he would send forth workers. See the harvest is already there, brothers and sisters. People are eager and they are being stirred by God. Now it’s our turn to stir this in our hearts; to see the harvest. We've got to be the one who calls to the Lord, to bring this sense of harvest, revival, of abundance, the sense of God coming into our region, into our churches. I want to encourage every one of us, I shared with you some of the excitement in the different regions, but there is a lot more.

And I want to share with you that if you’re listening to this, I want you to pray. I want you to go to God because I've said it over these past few years now, the favor of the Lord is with us, the abundance of the Lord is with us and just as Joseph experience the harvest, just as Joseph prepared himself, I want to ask every one of us, continue to seek God and prepare. Go ahead and say, “Lord I want to see your Spirit move, I want to see the power of God come to my region”. Let God build your region up, let God stir souls in your region so that all our churches in our HIM family will see that God is doing wonderful things in your church, city and region. I want to pray and I'm going to continue to believe the Lord that all of our regions are going to experience something wonderful, dramatic, and the power and the work of God in the rest of this year.
So HIM family, I want to encourage you, continue to pray along with me, continue to look to the Lord and continue to believe that we're going to see that harvest coming to place and your church, your people, your region is going to experience more of the touch of God and the greatness of God in your region.
God bless you and continue to strengthen every work that you are doing for Him.
