HIM INTRANET: Online Resource Centre

The intranet is managed by Nicola Song and our Corporate Communications Group. Nicola is based in the HIM Office in Kuching. This month, she writes about the intranet as one of our global efforts to support local churches. 

The Intranet is an online Resource Centre for Pastors and Coordinators in the HIM Family. This tool soft-launched in September 2011 replaces the previous HGI intranet.

You can find resources such as sermon manuscripts, Christian Education resources (e.g. Word for Life materials), Global Conference and Leadership Conference teaching notes, Life Group lessons, leadership lessons and more. In addition, you can find out about the work of different HIM groups (departments) and also catch up with insider news. Other than resources developed globally by HIM, we gather resources from various HIM local churches. Currently most of the resources are from churches such as HIM Singapore, HIM Malaysia, HIM Brisbane and also HIM UK. Currently, due to the space limitations of the Google platform that we are using, we are unable to load audio and video files yet. We are working on expanding the features.

At the moment, access is granted to Pastors and Coordinators and recommended leaders whose applications are duly approved by the Regional Pastors. Should you need resources but you do not have access, kindly approach your local pastor or coordinator. We are working on plans to enlarge the reach to other leaders.

An e-mail is sent to users to update them of the latest resource uploads. We endeavour to upload new materials monthly.
