Hi! Brothers and sisters in HIM family, it is great to be able to communicate with you once again. Let me share my heart with you.

North American Conference in New York

My latest trip took me over to North America. We had our North American camp and this time it was held at the strategic and very historic place in New York City. All of our pastors from North America (the USA and Canada) came together and we shared the second part of our core values. We did the first part last year, and we did the next part at this camp in North America in July.

It was indeed a wonderful time, as all our North American members, leaders and pastors came together. There was a great time of pastoral meeting. There was a time of sharing, teaching, praying, ministering, and I think all our people went away excited about what God is doing over in our North American members of the HIM family as well.

Pioneering HIM Montreal

Our latest commissioning happened in Montreal, a French-speaking city. Our brother Eric and some of our Canadian brothers and sisters commissioned the start of Hope Montreal. Praise God! We prayed and we laid hands and spoke words to the brothers and sisters. It is again a great time of excitement that we are going to plant another place in Canada, in North America. So pray that our Canadian and our North American work will continue to multiply and grow.

Moving forward in the end times

I have a particular concern about what was happening in North America when I was over there. We witnessed the downgrading of the United State’s credit rating from AAA to AA+ by Standard and Poor’s. It was a real shaking of the financial institutions over in the United States and it rocked the entire financial world as well. I just want to share for all of us in our family around the world; we need to take note that God is fulfilling his calendar, his prophetic calendar, and the things that are happening around the world.

Brothers and sisters, I want us to continue to be alert and aware that indeed we are moving towards the end of the end times where Jesus is going to come back again. The time is short and we may not have that many years as we see what is happening around the world. Whether it is economic shakiness, global climate change, wars and rumors of wars; brothers and sisters, we really need to build our church to be strong. We really need to focus our lives so that we are focusing our talents, our resources, our gifting and we are building the church of Jesus Christ for what is going to come upon the world. It is going to be a tremendous shaking of the world going forward within the next three to five years. We should see more and more dramatic happenings around the world.

Investing in the kingdom of God

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, I would like to communicate the concern. I would like to communicate urgency to each one of us. We should really channel our lives to invest into the Kingdom of God, build our people, build our leaders, making sure that our churches are healthy, and are able to withstand both what is going to shake the world and also the harvest that God is potentially going to bring to the church as well.

So, I have this particular concern in my heart that we will rise up as God's people, we will rise up as HIM people to really be conscious of what God wants to do through his church as we enter into seasons of trials, testings, challenges, but yet greater fruitfulness as well.

Until the next time that I communicate with you, I pray that God will continue to lead you into fruitfulness; I pray that God will bring you into a greater season of building His church and His people as well.
