PASTOR SIMON ENG MESSAGE

Hi brothers and sisters and family of HIM. I am at Brisbane airport and I am waiting to fly back to Kuala Lumpur. We have just finished our Oceania Convention. Pastor Wilson, Pastor Ian and Pastor Brendan together with me have been ministering on, and revisiting our ten core values. We had a great time covering the ten core values throughout the four days of the Oceania Convention. I could see God strengthening and consolidating our people in Oceania. For example, I could see the unity in the people; they are coming together. They are excited to be reminded again that we are a covenantal family; based on the core value of being a covenantal people together.

Hope Oceania Convention 2010

I could see the leaders appreciate each other and God is just doing the work of maturing us in the Oceania region as well. We also touched on the core value of being vision driven, we are also mission-driven and mission-minded people, we are Christ-centred and we are Bible based. We covered these core values. I could see the response of the people, the way they have understood it. They are excited about walking on with God. I was in the Brisbane office today. Brother Ben Seah said that there have been record sales of the DVD sets. They have never had such a large number of orders – they ran out of stock. They had to reproduce extras to be able to send to the people.

I also had wonderful fellowship with the pastors. We had two days of retreat and sharing, going through the things that are happening. We are looking at what we are going to do to move forward from here. We are also working on the strategic planning for the next five years – seeing the expansion of ministries and developing the five-fold ministries in our movement. Great things are happening and wonderful things we have shared here. I think Pastor Wilson is pretty excited although he is very tired. The pastors go back to their respective centres excited about what God’s doing and God’s doing a wonderful thing in our Oceania region.

Vision to reach Oceania region

Even Pastor Bernard who is going back to New Zealand, whom I am going to visit in May, they brought their team and they participated in the praise and worship, the dance, and drama. God is doing simply wonderful things in our region. Continue to pray for Oceania. We want to be able to venture beyond the shores of Australia and New Zealand. I have the burden for the Islands; the regions around Oceania we have not touched yet. We are praying for Fiji and Papua New Guinea. We have to touch the many islands around here as well. Continue to pray for this region, intercessors rise up because I believe God has a plan and a purpose that he wants to accomplish in the next five years for this region.

Hope United Kingdom Festival

Brothers and sisters and our global people and family of HIM, I was on Skype with Pastor Prakich for a little while two weeks ago. He has been covering the different places in Europe. He is so excited as well that God is doing wonderful things around Europe. Brother PK has been sharing about the United Kingdom Festival. I am excited about what God is doing in our European region. It is a wonderful thing that God is continuing to develop our churches and people there. We are seeing the expansion of our European pastors and leaders there. I want to greet each one of you and pray you will continue to be strengthened.

Church Growth in Asia

In our Asian region: Tokyo, Taipei, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, we are registering the positive touch of God. We are seeing the hand of God in those places. Our churches are being strengthened and protected. Our churches are registering growth as well. We are definitely excited about what God is doing in our Asian region.

Impacting Africa & Americas

I have a burden which I would like to ask each one of you to continue to pray for Africa and South America. These are regions that are highly populated and we really want to see many, many souls come into the kingdom of God. Continue to pray for our leaders in Africa and South America. I really believe God wants to do a great work there too. In the regions of North America, we want to see our churches and our leaders there to continue to reach a breakthrough in God where we are going to see the glory of God, the anointing of God and we want to see God adding to our churches there.

Greater breakthrough in 2010

I am excited! I believe God wants to do something more in our movement, in our churches around the world. These are just some of the reports I have received and some of the things I want to believe God for breakthrough. I really believe that as we pray together and unite, we are going to see God do more around the regions of our world.

As I depart for home, I am departing with a sense that God is doing a wonderful work here. We are going to see greater things happen; we are going to see our churches mature. I believe with our prayers, with our love, with our unity and with each one of us playing our role in our gifting and what God has called us to do; I believe we will see wonderful things happen.
