HOPE ADELAIDE'S FAMILY SUNDAY COMMUNITY OUTREACH

In Hope Church we have four Big Days in a year that are specifically targeted towards the families in our church and in the community.

We try to come up with a different theme for each of these Family Fun Days to create interest and to give the families a good reason to stay back after the service and invite friends!

This year, many came dressed in different Disney Characters! We top this off with our ‘Best Dressed Competition’ during the service which stimulated lots of laughter! Ps Helen Kirby preached on the topic “Together we are Stronger”. It was a powerful message about community. Ps Helen concluded with the passage from 1 Cor 12:18-26 describing how we are one body with many parts…like the church. We all need each other!

After the service, the older kids and some adults rushed to get on the massive inflatable obstacle course and interactive battle table, while the younger kids enjoyed the balloon twisting! Many families stayed back after church to have lunch, catch up with friends and watch the kids have fun!

It was wonderful to see the church working to bless one another, to build community and to reach out to other families! Amen!
