HOPE TAIPEI ANNUAL CAMP 2019
Being Christians, the desire in our hearts is to always want to grow in the Lord. Since last year’s camp, our understanding of the Kingdom has been enlarged, especially as we recognized the value of being God's precious children. For many long-time Christians, talking about our identity in God is not a new concept; however, for most of us, this is just head knowledge. Therefore we consistently encourage our people to receive God’s blessings in our daily lives as we are children of God.
At the end of July, we had our annual camp held in I-Lan, in north-eastern Taiwan. Our theme for this year was "The distance between God and Us." Before the camp, we tried different ways to encourage our brothers and sisters to pray and further think about how to draw closer to God. However, we kept on hearing that people faced challenges either physically or with their work right before the camp. It motivated us to pray even more fervently. We believed that our Father would do something miraculous in the midst of these difficulties; the spiritual warfare was so strong. Even though we faced difficulties, our hearts were full of faith and looked forwarded to experiencing the power of God in the camp.
Throughout the four-day camp, we were affirmed by words from God that He loves us so much. People experienced a personal breakthrough when they were soaking in the presence of God. Meanwhile, we witnessed people receiving healing, comfort by the power of God as well. Many of the delegates’ faith leaped up after the camp.
As for the children, they had the very first treasure hunt at the camp. They went out in groups to a nearby park, and some of them did find the person whom God gave the hints to them. Praise the Lord!
All the delegates had a joyful time to encounter with God and fellowship with one another during the camp. We saw people's lives being changed. Praise God!
