ASIA 3 CONFERENCE (A3C) 2019

In June, Hope churches in the A3 region had our annual conference in Malacca. This year’s theme “Kingdom Journey” is a continuation from our previous theme “Build Your Kingdom Here” held two years ago, where we witnessed the beginning of a new season in our church. As we embark on this new journey, there were various breakthroughs among our people in encountering the presence of God and being filled with the Holy Spirit. Some of them became more expressive during worship as they sense the joy and love of the Father while others experienced different manifestations and miracles, particularly healing.

This year we are blessed to have Ps Tim Stevenson & his wife – Ps Xenia, from Horizon Church, New Zealand, to minister to us once again. We were also privileged to have Ps Paul Yadao and Ps Ahlmira from Destiny Ministries International, to impart to us from their own experiences creating kingdom culture and fathering a movement in the Philippines.

Our invited speakers carry with them powerful testimonies and transformative messages concerning the kingdom of God which many of us are in the process of un-learning and re-learning. We were able to relate from their sharing as we found many similarities from their personal walk with God. The sharing on father’s love, our identity as sons and daughters and the struggle they faced during the initial stage of the journey were indeed impactful. Throughout the 4 days conference, we were constantly being affirmed that our Heavenly Father loves us very much. If fact, more than we can imagine.

Many wonderful things happened throughout the conference. Of note, is the ministering time where people were touched by the tangible presence of God when the speakers and our leaders took the time to pray and lay hands on each of the delegates. Prophecies and words of knowledge were being released while various healings took place. Some delegates were bursting in laughter when the joy of the Lord filled their heart while some were crying as the Holy Spirit was doing the work of healing and restoration in their hearts. People are blessed and inspired when they were personally touched by the presence of God.

Notwithstanding, we had an inspiring session talking about the role of woman in the Kingdom of God. Ps Ahlmira took the chance to share from the testimonies of her own spiritual children to expound on woman’s role in the kingdom. She then led us into a time of prayer confessing our negligence at times on God‘s purpose for man and woman specifically the role of husband and wife as well as parents and children.

The delegates also had some wonderful time to fellowship with one another during the conference. We were thankful to be able to host more than 100 international delegates from our family of churches in the A3 region. Apart from that, Praise Kids Club (PKC) children enjoyed a one day outing trip to the nearby Malacca Zoo while also learning a similar message prepared by our faithful team PKC teachers.

We were also grateful to all the committees, volunteers and everyone who had labored, prayed and supported in every way possible.

Last but not least, we had included some of the testimonies from our delegates who had shared their encounters and breakthrough during and after the conference:

“We were encouraged to find someone and speak to them. I was just beside Bro Wai Lup, we didn’t speak, and we just gave each other a hug. It went longer than I thought; the Father’s love filled us. Both of us started to cry. After that, he was smiling with tears, saying, “I didn’t do anything to you and you didn’t do anything to me”; meaning to say that it’s the work of the Holy Spirit. Oh! How deep the Father’s love for us!”

“During night Praise & Worship session, God asked me what do I feel about my relationship with Him. I am a person that hardly expresses myself. Not that I don’t want to, but at times I do not know how to express. During that time, I felt like God came to me as a friend, my heart is like connected to His. And my heart started to pour out to Him. My burden before I came to A3 had been lifted up. He is like a friend.”

“We had a very powerful praise yesterday in Praise Kids Club. As the kids went to zoo and some of them to the water park in the afternoon, we - teachers were expecting that they would be exhausted. Oh boy, we were wrong! We sang 5 praise songs, they were energetic and really sang out loud (that was wild)! All of the teachers were so amazed”

“Good morning everyone! I must confess. I haven't felt so much joy returning to work Sunday morning 9 am ever in my life!”

“When Ps Paul shared about the river that flowed from the temple of God in Ezekiel 47, it reminds me to thirst for more and to go deeper into encountering Him. After I told God I wanted more and go deeper with him, my tears can’t stop falling. I knew God is more desirous than me to bring me back to his embrace.”

“Last year I received the card with a prophetic word “Beautiful”. At first, I didn’t have special feelings regarding this word. When brother Wei Hao prayed for me, God told him to ask me about my job. Before this, I prayed for a job upon graduation, and God gave me a really good opportunity in NUS. Wei Hao told me God wants me to do His beautiful work in my workplace. The last day after soaking time… sister Rachel from Hope Kluang prayed for me, the first thing she told me was: “God wants to tell you that you are beautiful to Him.” And I was stunned right there. I told her actually I keep receiving this word since last year! This really amazed both of us. When she prayed for me again, she told me I don’t have to try so hard to do a good job, just be myself and self-confident. She also released some really powerful messages to me, which I need to keep in my heart and ponder.”
