"LOVE JOY HOPE", Christmas 2018 at Hope Church Kuching

Christmas brings the message of Love, Joy, Hope (and Peace!). "Love Joy Hope" is our Christmas theme for this year. We want to bring God's love, joy and hope to the people around us, wherever we go.

"Hope for Christmas" is our Christmas appeal in helping the poor & needy families in our local community. Together with Life Group members, friends & families, neighbours & colleagues, we've collected 100 BAGS OF LOVE & JOY filled with non-perishable food items and household & hygiene items throughout the month of December. We are overwhelmed by the love & kindness shown by the many generous givers in carrying out the spirit of giving this Christmas and for supporting this meaningful cause! These bags are then delivered to the 35 Hope Place families (under the care of Hope Church Kuching). We pray that through this acts of kindness, we are able to bring Love, Joy, Hope and share the love of Jesus Christ to these families. *Hope Place is a local charity organisation in Kuching.

 

Our Christmas Carnival & Service was held at Penview Convention Centre (PCC) Demak, Kuching on Sunday, 23 December. We celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ with song presentation, choir performance by Voices of Hope, and a short Christmas message by our Senior Pastor, Denis Lu. A Celebration of Love, Joy Hope and Peace, Christmas spirit was indeed merry and bright. We had fun, food & fellowship with beloved friends and family over food trucks, games booths, colourful clown, free popcorns and balloons, ice cream eating competitions and “snow-time”!
