HOPE CANBERRA & HOPE QUEANBEYAN REGIONAL CAMP

In August 2016, Hope Canberra and Hope Queanbeyan held a regional camp together in Greenhills Centre, Australian Capital Territory (ACT). This year, the camp is organised by Hope Queanbeyan and attracted around 60 participants from both centres. In was truly a melting pot of God’s people from various background and ages coming together to learn, worship and live under one roof.

The theme of the camp is “Nurturing Thriving Churches”. We were blessed to have Ps Lance and Belle Wolter from Hope Brisbane, and Ps Rolando Condat from Hope Queanbeyan to teach and minister at the camp. We were taught the principle of growth and health in the body of Christ. During the evenings, we had intense worship and words of prophecy were released. Praise God there were salvations and filling of the Holy Spirit during the camp.

We also had creative games sessions for the youth and the young at heart. It was truly a great opportunity for members of both churches to mingle and come together for fun and fellowship! Kudos to the Hope Canberra University team for leading the games.

In conclusion, everyone left the camp refreshed, inspired and convicted by God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. Relationship between the two churches has also strengthen as we serve and encourage each other. Let us build thriving churches for God in Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and beyond!
