HOPE LONDON WEST CHURCH CAMP: BONDED

Bonded (A covenant church) was the theme of Hope London West church's summer camp held last Aug 1-4 at Shrosphire, England. Speakers were led by our resident pastor, Dexter Cases who taught us that being bonded as a church means to stand, to strive and to serve together as one family in Christ.

Sister Precious Cases discussed about our lasting covenant with God and the nine steps of the blood covenant done between 2 men to establish a binding contact between them in the old times. Bro Sherwin Manilay shared about what it takes to be a bondservant of Christ as he shared about his own struggles in his ministry and how to overcome such challenges.

We were blessed to have a guest speaker from Hope Leeds, Ps Prakich Treetasayuth who spoke about what covenant means and God's covenant with us and the people of Israel. Ps Steve Mondala from Hope Haugesund, Norway led one of the workshops that taught about loving difficult people and how to react to challenging situations by learning Godly attitude. We learned not only from the Bible but also from various workshops about management of time, money, emotions; loving the unlovable and living supernaturally.

Campers showcased their talents in the group presentations with singing, dancing and acting. Their athletic skills were put to test in the Hope games. 110 campers joined this year and we praise God for making it all possible. It was indeed a blessed time together as a family in Christ. We are already planning and looking forward to the camp in 2016!
