HOPE PHILIPPINES ANNUAL CAMP

BULACAN, Philippines - On the 17th, 18th, and 19th of April 2014, Hope Philippines church held their annual camp, with the theme of Passion, in Sitio Lucia, Bulacan. The three-day experience was something that helped them not only set aside the worries and the hustle and bustle of city life, but also propelled them forward in their spiritual journeys.


The two invited guest speakers, Pastor Wilson Lim and his wife Pastor Lai Ling Lim, Elders of Hope International Ministries, imparted much about passion and how to keep it burning. During the nightly Encounters, one could really feel the presence of The Lord, and the people were eager to draw near to Him. Of course, it didn’t end there.

We had a Sports Fest, which featured a wide variety of games adapted to fit the theme of the camp as well to promote cooperation and oneness in the body of Christ. At the end of the three days, it is evident that a new passion really has been set aflame in the hearts of the people and they were eager for more. However, it was time for all of them to return to the city and spread that flame. After all, passion is contagious!



HOPE MANILA EASTER CELEBRATION

Easter Celebration was celebrated at Hope Place in San Juan, Manila on April 20, 2014. Everyone still carried the burning passion that was ignited after coming back from Sitio Lucia, Bulacan for our annual camp during the Holy week, After a Spirit-filled time of praising and worshiping the Lord, Pastor Wilson Lim, our esteemed guest speaker, gave a wonderful preaching about what the resurrection power of Christ truly means to each and everyone of us.

Pastor Wilson shared about the example of the great change we can see in Peter as demonstrated in the Book of Acts, chapter three. If this wasn't enough of a reminder already, The Lord made His grace and power even more evident in the lives of the people when Pastor Wilson and Pastor Lai Ling were used to minister His healing power to those who needed it.

There were even those who testified about the instant healing that God has brought upon their lives at that moment. It was a truly blessed celebration and I'm sure that everyone present was reminded of the resurrection power of Christ in their lives, the power that is able to change us from who we used to be to who God wants us to be.
