OUR CULTURAL ATTRIBUTES (PART 2 OF 4)

Last week we shared part 1 of our Cultural Attributes, which featured the introduction and also the first cultural attribute: Vision-driven. Today in the second part we feature the next three attributes, namely, Church Planting, Covenant and Enriching Community. 

Guide to Communicate Cultural Attributes – 2 of 4 

Core Value 2 - Church Planting Cultural 

Attribute - Embracing a pioneering spirit, church multiplication, thinking globally and acting locally

Scripture: Acts 13:1-3, Rom. 15:20, Isa. 55:10 

 Impartation Guide:

• Bring your leaders along with you when you do visits to new churches 
• Encourage the leaders to be part of short-term mission trips 
• Inspire the leaders to reach out to foreigners in their community 

Core Value 3 - Covenant

Cultural Attribute - Communion with Christ and with one another, strength in unity, working through conflict

Scripture: Galatians 6:1-2, Matthew 18:15-17, Psalms 133 

Impartation Guide: 

• Share a testimony of how you demonstrated love and forgiveness in a church relationship 
• Give examples of members who left but were restored back to church
• Share your experience in handling a conflict with your leader 

Core Value 4 - Enriching Community 

Cultural Attribute - Being the body of Christ, friends connected with interlocking bonds, doing life and death together

Scripture: Acts 2:42-47, Acts 11:27-30, 1 Cor. 12:12-27 

Impartation Guide: 

• Share an example of a Life Group/Unit that expresses community living 
• People want to know and be known, to love and be loved 
• Share how you have been touched by our church’s ‘one anothering’ each other
