HOPE SEATTLE EVANGELISM TRAINING

Witnessing in Seattle Hope Seattle church has been so blessed by our brother Eric Hebert from December 6th to December 23rd 2013. He came all the way from our Montreal church to teach and equip us on evangelism. The purpose of this three-week campaign was to build up towards July 2014 North America Annual Convention which will be focused on outreach.

Eric imparted to us the excitement and enthusiasm on seeing people get saved. In the past two weeks there were about 60 people that we evangelised to on the street, even in this cold and rainy season. Many trainers have been equipped and now more people are eager to share the Gospel. Praise God.

In the past two weeks Hope Seattle church members went in pairs to the streets to reach people and share the message of Christ. New Testaments were given to the people we met. Extensive training for church members included practical sessions on the streets where they practiced what they learned. The objective was to encourage church members to develop an everyday evangelism lifestyle by equipping them with a clear and efficient way to explain God’s salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. From the very first week, we saw results and once again God proved His faithfulness: “The disciples went and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and proved that their preaching was true by the miracles that were performed” Mark 16: 19.
