HIM PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE: PASTOR SIMON ENG

Hi HIM Family, Greetings from Chiang Mai and from our Thai Camp 2013!

We have just finished our camp and it was tremendous. We had about 1,500 people from our northern, central, southern and the northeast regions. Even our Filipino group from Oasis in Bangkok attended this year’s camp. HIM Thailand is really doing well. This year the atmosphere was incredible. The people were very responsive.

The lessons were great. We touched on the theme of ‘revival in the end times’ because God is going to give us a harvest. We had the local pastors, Chuchart, Chaiyaphreuk and Thammarak and we had three of us from overseas: Peter, Pastor James and myself as well. And it was great. We had many workshops and many opportunities to tour Chiang Mai where the people bonded together. The group was just enjoying this entire camp.

Next year, we believe about 2,000 people will attend Thai Camp. God is blessing our work in HIM Thailand. We can see that people are now excited. They are united and they really want to go out to and be able to do more for the work of God in Thailand, in Indochina, and Southeast Asia as well. Brothers and sisters, this is a great time. Continue to pray for Thailand because I think God is doing something already to put this whole thing together. Our people are stable. Our churches are growing. They are very eager to multiply. We do not have the same problems as we faced in the past. We are just moving ahead because we are not looking back, we are looking forward.

Right now, in HIM Thailand, there are already over 40 centers and they believe it is going to be more, it is going to grow, it is going to increase and I really sense that the momentum is with us now. So church, this is a great time and we continue to believe that in this region of Thailand and Indochina and Southeast Asia, they are going to do a continual tremendous work for the Kingdom of God.
