CATALYSE UPDATE by Pastor Ben KC Lee

It’s a pleasure to share about where we are in terms of our CATALYSE journey. CATALYSE is our 5-year change process. In fact just six months earlier, I shared a half-year progress 2012 update at our July Global Conference in Kuching. So here I will share the second half-year updates.

The first progress is our Kingdom Partnerships strategic priority

We have been building relationship with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for several years. This is one of the largest African church planting movements. This year we were invited as guests to the RCCG annual Holy Spirit Congress in Lagos. Pastor Simon Eng and Dr. Brendan Kirby (Adelaide) represented HIM at the Congress held on December 10-15. They met with Pastor Adeboye, General Overseer and their key leaders. The Congress had 1 million people in attendance.

The second area of progress is in our Fivefold Ministry and Leadership strategic priority.

Our July 2012 Global Conference (GC) was themed ‘Leadership Unleashed’. I am sure you have read the testimonies about this GC. Currently we are preparing for the Fivefold GC in Taipei next month. The plenary and workshop sessions will focus on the ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers on building a five-fold functioning church and movement.

The third area is our Church Polity initiative.

Our initiative team has been meeting and discussing regularly. The team of four comes from Australia, Malaysia, Norway and Singapore. The topics covered thus far are governing bodies and relationships between the local, national, regional and global church.

Continue to pray for the work of God in this change process called CATALYSE. Also pray with us in the Strategic Planning Team (SPT).

On behalf of SPT, I take this opportunity to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and blessed New Year.
