PASTOR SIMON ENG MESSAGE
Hello HIM Family,
It is time again for me to communicate my thoughts and some of the things upon my heart for our family and for our churches as well.
We are coming towards the final quarter of 2011 and some of us are already perhaps planning towards 2012. Can I share with you some of the thoughts and things that I believe we can look forward to and prepare ourselves.
Empower by the Holy Spirit
Firstly, I believe we need to continue to pray and really depend on the Holy Spirit. As we move towards the future, I believe the Holy Spirit is still the wisdom of God, still the power of God to empower our people and our churches to move towards victoriously in the future years as well. I encourage you to seek God and seek the power and the leading of the Holy Spirit as well. Move where the Holy Spirit is moving so that we will see God's purpose and will being victoriously accomplished.
I want to pray also that we continue to train ourselves as pastors and leaders of our family. The key is always leadership. I really want to encourage us to continually train, equip and retool ourselves, for the changing times, for the dynamic years ahead. We train ourselves and look at how we can raise the level of our leaders as well. We need to train them so that they are also being able to equip themselves for the greater work of God.
Thirdly, I want to encourage ourselves to look at where we can deploy and be able to remobilize our leaders so that they are mobile, so that they are flexible to be able to move to develop our regions also. You know, as our church grows, our parts grow and our work grows and we are unable to travel as much. However, I believe we still need to strategically mobilize our leaders, mobilize our people so that as they travel to the regions, they will be able to strengthen the regions and importantly work towards developing and seeing our regions being able to grow as well.
These are the few key thoughts that I want to leave with you for this period where we are looking to the end of this year and looking towards next year. I believe God is moving in his church, God is moving in the program in the world, things are going to get more exciting, things are going to get more challenging, and we as a church have to be ready. We as God's leaders and pastors have to be ready for greater things that God wants to bring upon the church and upon this world as well.

Developing strong leadership

Spreading the kingdom of God
Thirdly, I want to encourage ourselves to look at where we can deploy and be able to remobilize our leaders so that they are mobile, so that they are flexible to be able to move to develop our regions also. You know, as our church grows, our parts grow and our work grows and we are unable to travel as much. Finally, I want to encourage us to continue to develop resources, where we share, teach; we want to continue to make these resources available: taped up, videoed. It is so that they are sent to our leaders who are out there and want to hear and listen to what we are saying. I want to encourage us – make these resources multipliable. Make them duplicable so that they are available for our leaders to listen to as well. I want to encourage every church leader, every pastor, to make sure that you are making your resources available; the times are going to come when these are going to be supply lines for our people to feed themselves, train themselves and equip themselves as well.
Finally, I want to encourage us to continue to develop resources, where we share, teach; we want to continue to make these resources available: taped up, videoed.
