PASTOR SIMON ENG MESSAGE
[Hope Liberia, Africa]
Greetings HIM family, pastors and leaders from around the world! The Lord’s peace and joy be with you. I have a few interesting reports and experiences that we have had. I have been shepherding and communicating with our leaders all over the world. I am happy to report that all our churches are generally moving along well. In certain particular regions, God is really doing awesome work. God is moving on with our churches and our leaders as well and we are seeing the favour of God and the touch of God on many of our regions as well.
I want to share in particular one aspect. I was in western Africa in June. I travelled to the country of Liberia and after that, I went to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Pastor Brendan came along with me on this journey. We preached over in these two nations. We conducted crusades in these nations and we encouraged our pastors and leaders over there. In DRC, we have 51 churches going; in Liberia, we have six churches going. Both the pastors from our African churches are dynamic men of God. I really believe deep in my heart God has many wonderful things that he is going to do in Africa. We strategized; we talked about the things we want to see in Africa.
Pray with us for Africa because I believe there are huge needs there. These two nations have recently come out of civil wars and in many ways; they are just reconstructing the nation. The people are desperate, the people are poor; these people are looking for God, for peace and wanting to build their nation as well. Pray with us because I really believe God has many things he wants to do in these two countries and these two pastors and leaders as well are also visionary and enthusiastic to be able to carry the work in their entire nations and going into the nations of Africa. At DRC, our leaders speak French, so they can reach the French-speaking part of Africa. On the west-side in Liberia, they are English-speaking and fluent in their local language. So I believe this is a fantastic potential of what God is doing.
I also spoke to our leaders on what God is doing in South America. I think God is doing some exciting work there. I really also pray and I believe God is also doing a special work to open up our work in South America as well.
Brothers and sisters, there is a generally stirring and feeling that God is really moving and doing something in these continents. Africa has 53 countries, 1 billion people; huge potential over the area. South America also has huge potential. Pray with us; I really believe God wants to do something.
At the end of the month, towards the end of July and 1st of August, I am going to the Singapore anniversary. It will be their 20th year and we are having 4000-5000 people gathered together in that meeting. We are going to share and challenge, I am going to challenge them about the vision and mission.

Hope Singapore Conference
At the end of the month, towards the end of July and 1st of August, I am going to the Singapore anniversary. North America Camp
Then almost immediately, I will fly with Lai Eng to our North American Camp. In the month of August, I want to see our North American work continue to grow and multiply and progress. Pray for us for North America. We want to believe God for a significant breakthrough in our church health and church growth over in North America. As you know, the United States is one of the most powerful nations in the world and advanced and developed. We want to really pray that our churches there will see significant progress and really be able to breakthrough in church health and growth. We pray; Pastor Wilson, Ben and myself. We want to see God cement that fellowship, that strength with our leaders there and move on with our churches as well. Eric from Canada is very keen to plant a church as well and he is working on that already.
Catalyse - 5 Years Plan
Different things are happening in our churches around the world. As I reported earlier, generally, God’s favour is upon our people. We continue to see the spirit and momentum of our church planting. We continue to see our people talk about the core values. We also see our people looking into Catalyse - HIM 5 years plan. We are advancing that as well to develop our movement in the next five years.
