HIM STRATEGIC PLANNING UPDATE
The first ever strategic planning process for HIM was set in motion since November 2009. 14 months later, our Strategic Planning Team (SPT) is now gearing up for the launch of CATALYSE in January 2011 at the Global Conference (GC) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
CATALYSE in essence, has been developed to provide an overarching direction and achieve an effective synergy for our connectional movement spanning more than 40 countries.
Since April this year, we’ve been bringing you monthly updates of the master plan.
Just to recap, the six Strategic Priorities for our strategic plan from 2011 – 2015 are for HIM to progress:
1. From Variable to Consistently Healthy Churches
2. From a Largely Asian Church Planting Movement (CPM) to a Global CPM
3. From Basic to Missional Christian Education
4. From Developing to Fully-functioning Five-fold Ministry and Leadership
5. From Basic to Professional Management
6. From Exclusivity to Kingdom Partnerships
We have also identified 16 key initiatives, or projects to support the six Strategic Priorities above.
Straight after the Chiang Mai GC, many of our Initiative leaders and members involved in these 16 initiatives will gather for a more detailed briefing as we get down to work.
We look forward to seeing many of you real soon. Continue to pray with us!
