HIM STRATEGIC PLANNING UPDATE
STRATEGIC PRIORITY 4 OF 6
The Strategic Planning Team (SPT) will finalise HIM five-year-plan in their end September summit in Melbourne.
We like to fill you in that our five-year plan has been named Catalyse. We will launch Catalyse come January 2011 at the Global Conference (GC) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Have a peek this month at the overview of our fourth of Six Strategic Priorities from 2011 – 2015: From Developing to Fully-functioning Five-fold Ministry and Leadership
One of our core values is that we are leadership developers. We believe that every Christ follower has the potential to be a leader who is God-appointed and spiritually gifted to make a difference in people building and church planting.
Over the years, we have seen a diversity of leadership base being developed that has enriched our movement. At the same time we also realised that our leaders are developing at different pace and levels in terms of experience, skills, knowledge, maturity and the degree of release in the area of their gifting.
Ultimately, our five-year goal is to develop, equip and release leaders who, in addition to growing in their respective ministries and influence, will in turn multiply other leaders and release them into the areas of their gifting. We are resolute in identifying and closing the leadership gaps so that we will move into a fully-functioning mode.
As such, we have identified three major areas: -
The first area is to develop a unified, full-functioning five-fold ministry. The second is to re-tool current leaders for growth. Last but not least, we will intentionally nurture the next generation leadership for a sustainable future.
