PASTOR SIMON ENG MESSAGE
Dear pastors, leaders and members of our HIM family all over the world.
I greet you once again in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am well and I trust that you are well in the Lord.
I want to share with you from my heart about what has been happening on my travels and what I have observed and I want to give you a quick report from some of the regions that I have visited.

Intentional Discipleship 2010, Singapore

[Intentional Discipleship Conference, Hope Singapore]
I was in Hope Singapore recently and we did a conference together with Ps. Jeff and his pastoral team called Intentional Discipleship. We emphasized once again in Hope Singapore, the importance, the value, the substance of discipleship. As we all know, discipleship is in our mission statement. Discipleship is also in our core values. We desire to really disciple our people. Not just having them as members and not just having them join in the church, but we want them to be Christ-centered disciples. Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations. And so Hope Singapore got together with three to four thousand people in their church and together with the team we shared, we encouraged, we urged the people to continue to be mentored spiritually and to grow together with their leaders, with their mentors, with their shepherds. To really move on with the Lord in this area of discipleship.
Core Values - North America Camp

[North American Camp, Los Angeles]
I just came back recently from a trip to the United States. We had our North American camp and it was held in Los Angeles. Our members, our people came together and we shared the core values with them. And again our churches in North America are stabilizing, we are moving ahead. They are looking at how to grow and how to contextualize further. They are looking at how to strengthen the work in North America and I am excited about the pastors there too. They really have the desire to want to do more over in North America. Of course Pastor Ben and Pastor Dinah, together with myself, and I roped in Pastor Wilson as well, we will continually be looking at helping our North American churches to contextualize and move on further in the North American scene. European Leaders Conference, United Kingdom

Moving on from there, I am going to go to Europe in August. We are going to have our European leaders conference, which we call ELC. We've been doing this for the past two years now and it has been a wonderful, successful time, where our European leaders get together. We teach, we share, we bond, we do wonderful things together, and unite more strongly as European leaders.
This time it is going to be in London and I am excited to be there. I think it is going to be a wonderful time for us to just share together and meet each other again. Our work in Western Europe and Eastern Europe is going well. The churches are growing and the leaders are excited. They are looking at expanding the work of God over in Europe and I think we are going to see wonderful things come forward in the future.

Global Conference, Melbourne Australia

Coming up in September, will be our global conference in Melbourne. Our members, our leaders our pastors in Oceania and especially our team in Melbourne are excitedly looking at packaging and giving us a real wonderful time and I know it is going to be a good time with many things going on there. The teaching will be on wisdom - how to lead our church with wisdom and why wisdom is necessary for the times and situations that we are going to encounter in the future. [Global Conference Website]

15th Malaysian National Convention
That sums up the main activities and programs that we have for the year. We have our Malaysian convention coming up in early December and for the rest of us we will be planning different things I am sure to strengthen our churches. I want to encourage you to continue to keep close to the Lord. I want to encourage you to continue to learn to draw more from the Holy Spirit. I want to encourage you to continue to pray because it is through prayer that we are saturated with the presence of God and we can bring God to our people as well.
God bless you. I look forward to seeing you somewhere in the world where we can share about what God is doing in the midst of our churches. Amen. See you.
